Whiskey For The Wounded is the musical project of Brighton based Anglo/Irish singer-songwriter David T M Vine.

A collection of songs heavily inspired by classic literature, poetry and science fiction. A frank, alchohol-soaked biopic charting the personal journey from regret to acceptance.

Having released their debut self-titled EP to a sold-out launch party in Brighton in July 2014, WFTW are now promoting it by booking shows throughout the UK and Europe. A tour of the North of England is planned for Spring 2015 as well as dates in Berlin later in the year. A second EP is also primarily scheduled for next Summer.

The first track ‘Kobayashi Maru’ will be released as a single later this year.
The band incorporates musicians from established Brighton bands such as ‘The Deal Was For The Diamond’ and the backing band of ‘Ed Prosek’.

Whiskey for the Wounded is a brand new project for 2014. The debut, self-titled EP draws musical influences from Elliot Smith, Bon Iver and David Lynch, and was was engineered and produced by Charlie McClean.
