Eight years and three self-produced albums later Cochrane joined forces with friends Ryan Kusz, Mike Malkin and Scott White to release the award winning album 'where do we go from here?' in 2014.
Throughout 2014, 36? became fully immersed in the Canadian music scene. Touring across Canada and performing at a variety of music festivals throughout the year including POP Montreal, Sled Island, Frog Fest, CMW and many others. The band also had the chance to participate in the first Peak Performance Project here in Alberta, and out of over 100 applicants ended the 6 month project in 3rd place.
In 2015 the band ventured to the UK for The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City and toured Canada with spots at Sled Island, Golden Sound, NXNE and BreakOut West. Throughout this extensive touring schedule 36? released two new records. An EP entitled "Tiger Tail" and a compilation release with Calgary based band The Ashley Hundred aptly named "Split".
The band recently returned from a tour of Western Canada with a Western Canadian Music Award for Rock Recording of Year for their 2014 release "where do we go from here?". Taking sometime to work on the next album, stayed tuned for what's to come in 2016.
