Since their self-released debut EP „Off the Trails“ (2019) the 3-piece consisting of David Laudage, Martin Kreuzer and Sebastian “Borsti” Pieper has played countless festivals and shows all over Germany, including a sold out headline tour in January 2020 following the release of their two singles “Wherever I Go // You Follow“ and “By the Harbour“.

For their latest work “TIME TO LOSE CONTROL“, out June 4th 2021, the band teamed up with cologne based producer Sven Ludwig (OK KID, Xul Zolar, Lina Maly). Moving perfectly between atmospheric Indie sound aesthetics and poppy arrangements on this diverse 6 song EP, Walking On Rivers have created a sound that is way more self-confident, international and mature than any of their prior work. “TIME TO LOSE CONTROL“ combines intoxicating melodies and catchy hooks with pounding drums, tastefully placed synths, modern bass lines and skillful guitar and piano work, not shying away from using a wide range of unique effects that is new to the band’s songs. Accompanied by lyrics that carry a sense of social criticism, this new EP definitely wants to be listened to and you can tell that Walking On Rivers mean what they are doing.

With almost 150 shows under their belt they continue to grow their fanbase and are ready to hit every stage they can put their feet on.
