Rising out of the annals of Dundee and describing their sound as simply 'bleak', Vladimir burst onto the scene late 2013 and have quickly won themselves a reputation as one of Scotland's most exciting and acclaimed new acts.

The past year has seen the band support the likes of The Libertines, being hand picked by Pete Docherty to support in Nottingham the night before the show and The Fall, who the band are about to join on their 2nd tour as support. Vladimir have also played support to other bands such as Slaves, Crocodiles, The Twilight Sad, The Wytches, Pulled Apart By Horses, The View, Sleaford Mods, and Catfish and The Bottlemen, as well as winning widespread support from the likes of NME, Clash Magazine, Q Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, The 405, Art Rocker and most recently Dr. Martens.

“Addictive melodies that smack you in the face like a belligerent drunk at a funeral”
Q Magazine

“A sepulchral atmosphere and a gravestone grey aura… Fiercely uncompromising”
Clash Magazine

“Vladimir hit the middle ground between Drenge and Interpol”
NME

“Talented way beyond their years”
Artrocker
