He could be serving us up-tempo Reggaeton jams — like ‘Teaser’ (2018), ‘Tempo’ (2019), ‘Mami’ (2019) and ‘Se Solto’ (2020) — flowing between English and Spanish — or blending genres, like on his fresh new releases like ‘We Are the Generation of Change,’ a Spanish-infused drill freestyle that pays homage to the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. A story-teller at heart, Valenciz brings versatile creativity to the visuals that pair up with his tracks. His videos often have layered meanings and pay homage to people, places or movements. He has recently filtered his creativity into a line of official Valenciz merchandise — the pieces are inspired by the Reggaeton movement as well as his early love for all things astronomic.
2019 saw Valenciz take the main stage at the UK’s biggest Latin festival, La Clave Fest and perform to a crowd of 30,000 people. He recently featured on the newly formed Trace Latina, hosting ‘Valenciz’ Reggaeton Sofa Party’ — a 2 hour takeover slot where he ran through some of his favourite Reggaeton party jams.
A pioneer within his community, Valenciz is someone people can be inspired by, as he continues to make moves and break down barriers. Valenciz has proved his versatility time and time again in his music and the future is bright for this trailblazing artist.
