type two error evolved in a small room overlooking a beautiful park. it began late on a friday night with two friends (ben and kieran from the cooper temple clause) catching up about the week just gone. there were no grand schemes, no lofty ambitions: just a selfish desire to hang out, relearn their instruments and write music they would enjoy.
with encouragement from friends, the duo moved from their alcove to a rehearsal room under a railway arch with intermittent PA. it was here the talented jonny joined the fray and the songs sprang to life. a few gigs followed where they were lucky enough to play with great bands and meet wonderful people.
the band are half way through making an album with three gifted producers (max dingel, rhys downing, scott knapper) and will be releasing new songs in november.
a type two error can be a means of learning from a state of naivety. time will tell.
