Two Places at Once is an Alternative Rock group from Rio de Janeiro, created in 2013 by Renan Rocha (vocals and guitar), Rodrigo Soares (guitar), Juan Salinas (bass) and Victor Barbosa (drums).
The group released it’s debut EP titled "Different Selves" in the first half of 2014.
Recorded in Rio de Janeiro at their own studio, included the production and mixing Elton Bozza and the mastering Gabriel Zander (Bullet Bane, Mars Red Sky).
The debut EP had a good reception from the audience and critics, opening doors for the band in several venues of Rio de Janeiro, passing through São Paulo and also in Natal (in the two main city festivals: Mada Festival 2014 and Dosol Festival 2015 ).
In January 2016, the Two Places at Once released it’s first full-length album, "Birdtraps". Repeating the same team and the good work done in "Different Selves" with Elton Bozza and Gabriel Zander, the album has 11 tracks and is marked by great subtlety and smoothness, interspersed with its strong energy. Without leaving it’s originality, the band search in the 90 format of their identity.
