Based in NW England (Liverpool/Merseyside), they wrote and recorded their debut album "Coffee & Gin" during 2015 and 2016 whilst trying out the songs in an acoustic duo format around Liverpool and the North West.
The album, a blend of folk/pop and acoustic, was released in October 2016 to a sold out live launch audience at Studio2, Parr Street, Liverpool and has picked up regional radio play with commercial, independent and BBC radio stations with local TV performances.
The album launch featured a 9 piece band, including string quartet to replicate the album production, however, Tow Black Sheep also appear as an acoustic duo with strings and in their original format of Vocal/Violin & Guitar/Vocal duo.
The band feature a selection of eclectic covers in their acoustic set along with tracks from their "Coffee & Gin" album in an acoustic format. Both Amy and Ian have a wealth of performing experience and session work between them and intend to promote the "Coffee & Gin" album in varying formats throughout 2017 whilst writing their second album.
