History

Having spent four years touring with Sam Green and the Midnight Heist and having founded their own Smokin’ Juke Joint venue at Fieldview Festival, the boys are no strangers to bringing a room full of people into a Friday night frenzy. Whether leading festival line-dances or sparking late night revelry, the True Strays bring 21st Century Rhythm and Blues with anthemic choruses and a healthy measure of the heat of the swamp.

Their energetic and joyous live shows have already made them a must-see headline act in Bristol. In only 11 months since their inception, True Strays have released two singles, completed an independent UK tour and played 10 UK festivals last summer. The standout performances were playing at Boomtown, in the main arena at Shambala after 65 Days of Static and playing to a packed tent at Greenman with the Chai Wallahs. With their first EP in the pipeline for release in the spring of 2018 everything is cooking up nicely for a busy year ahead!
