Trevor B. Lewis (TBL), 1961 in Hastings, Großbritannien, begann seine Karriere als Musiker bereits mit 20 Jahren. Als Sänger der Bluesband Blues Cartel feierte er erste Erfolge in seiner Heimatstadt, daneben trat er in zahlreichen Lokalbands auch als Schlagzeuger und Bassgitarrist auf.

Später begann TBL neben Live-Gigs und Proben kontinuierlich als Autor und Sänger in Studioprojekten zu arbeiten. Gemeinsam mit seinem Kollegen und Freund Kenny Craddock, dem musikalischen Direktor von Van Morrison, gründete er Ende der 80er Jahre ein Gitarren-Keyboard-Duo sowie die Band 'The Intruders'. Zu den Intruders gehörten die Bandmitglieder Golin Gibson, Bass (Van Morrison), Jem Turpin, Harmonica (Turpin Brothers) und Liam Genockey, Drums (John Martyn). Die Zusammenarbeit endete als Craddock im Jahr 2002 bei einem Autounfall verunglückt.

Anfang der 90er Jahre zog TBL nach Berlin und spielte - gemeinsam mit bekannten Musikern wie Carsten Schmelzer, Kai Brückner, Pitti Piatkowski, Schorsch Pfister und Enno Kuck - in den großen Clubs der Stadt wie dem Franz Club oder dem Quasimodo. Einen großen Erfolg feierte er mit der Souldiva Jocelyn B. Smith für die er als Background-Sänger arbeitete. Sein Song 'Trust in You' gehörte über Jahre zu ihrem Live-Programm.

In 96 schrieb TBL für die auch in Europa erfolgreiche Band Guano Apes aus Göttingen den Song 'Lords of the Boards' für das Platinum Hit-Album Proud Like A God und den Titel 360°Aliendrop von der EP Rain. Der Song 360°Aliendrop gehörte zum Soundtrack für den Film 'Straight Shooter' mit Dennis Hopper.

Seit mehreren Jahren arbeitet TBL erfolgreich als Coach für Bands wie DeVision, Delaware und Vivid. Für Vivid hat TBL gemeinsam mit Thomas Hanreich an dem Album 'GO’ gearbeitet. Als Dozent an der Pop Akademy oder gleich ins Studio, TBLs Songwriting-Workshops sind bei Musikern, Produzenten und jungen, aufstrebenden Bands sehr beliebt.

Gemeinsam mit dem Produzenten Jürgen Heckel wurde seine CD 'Something Happening' im Frühjahr 2011 fertig gestellt. Die Alben des begabten Soulsängers und Songwriters enthalten ausschließlich Eigenkompositionen und sind geprägt durch einen unverwechselbaren Folkigen, Bluesstil, und Funky, R&B-Melodien.

Sein aktuelles Projekt mit Gitarrenvirtuosen und Produzenten Ian Melrose 'First Lady of Hollywood' kann man auszugsweise hier hören. 4 Titel werden gefeatured und bei "Bannockburn" gab es auch stimmliche Unterstützung von Celtic/Scandinavian Folk-Legende Kerstin Blodig .. enjoy.

Trevor B. Lewis (TBL) was born in 1961 in Hastings, England and began his musical career when he was 20 years old. His first success in his hometown was as singer in the band Blues Cartel although he had already played in local bands as bassist and drummer.

Apart from live gigs he was always busy working in the studio as writer and singer. End of the 80`s he founded with friend and mentor Kenny Craddock (musical director of Van Morrison and multi talent) a guitar and keyboard duo and later the band 'The Intruders'. Fellow musicians included Colin Gibson - Bass (Van Morrison), Jem Turpin - Harmonica (Turpin Brothers) and Liam Genockey - Drums (John Martyn) The partnership ended tragically with the death of Kenny in a car accident in 2002.

Beginning of the 90s was time to leave England for Berlin where he began working with the well known musicians - Carsten Schmeltzer, Kai Brückner, Pitti Piatkowski Schorsch Pfister and Enno Kuck playing in clubs like the Franz and Quasimodo. His first big break was as background singer for the soul diva Jocelyn B. Smith who used his song 'Trust In You' as an integral part of her live set.

Later in the 90`s TBL found himself writing for the widely successful Göttingen rock band Guano Apes. With the songs 'Lords of the Boards' for the platinum hit album 'Proud Like A God' as well as '360° Aliendrop' from the EP.'Rain'. Aliendrop was later featured on the soundtrack of the film 'Straight Shooter' with Dennis Hopper.

TBL has also worked as coach for many bands like DeVision, Delaware and Vivid. With Vivid he worked with Thomas Hanreich on the songs for the album 'GO'. His songwriting-workshops for the Pop Akademy or his coaching in the studio are equally valued by young musicians and producers alike.

With fusion guitarist Jürgen Heckel his critically acclaimed album 'Something Happening' was finished in 2011 and includes songs which carry his unique bluesy/folk style with strong funk and R&B melodies.
