Threelakes usually performed as a solo act, until in 2012 a special occasion brought the members of The Flatland Eagles together: they played at the benefit concert "Abbassa", a fundraiser for Finale Emilia's music school, heavily damaged by an earthquake.

The band decided to keep playing together and released the EP "Uncle T" the same year. In December 2012 the song “The day my father cried” was at the number 9 of the 100th best songs of the year, a chart made by the most important Italian music webzine

The first LP “War Tales” was released in October 2013; a concept album full of family stories entwined with historical war events, like the song “D-day”, and personal wars, like “The day my father cried”. The album collected enthusiastic reviews from the Italian music press, radio and tv. Between 2014 and 2015 Threelakes was interviewed and played live sets on several national tv and radio shows.

In 2015 Threelakes released a 12” split vinyl record with his friend and fellow musician Phill Reynolds.

Having played more than 120 gigs over 2 years, 2016 sounded like the right time to release a live record: “Folk the Casbah, a live record” is a very intimate album, where his warm voice and the guitar fill the room of the Casbah Club where it was recorded.

2017 marks the return of Threelake's rock and roll roots, when he releases the single “Christmas night”: a modern love story with a twist, included in a Christmas special compilation by the label We Were Never Being Boring.

The new full length record “Golden Days” is going to be released in October 2018. Recorded during the summer of 2017, it's a big rock songs album, full of guitars and hope.

During last 5 years Threelakes played almost 200 gigs sharing the stage with: Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Timber Timbre, Micah P. Hinson, Califone, Hey Colossus, Marisa Anderson, Chris Coen, Follakzoid, Teho Teardo, Widowspeak and many more...
