Driven by a mutual interest in folk music, the two immediately began displaying their original material around their hometown of Dundalk, wherever and whenever they could. Very soon, through popular demand, the duo recorded their first song demos, enabling them to get on their feet, once and for all.
Essentially, Ryan’s melancholic banjo permeates Conor’s translucent guitar as the instruments complement each other in a way that ensures you know they are their own unique sound. Flavoured by vocal harmony, the twosome is complete in their unconventional folk style.
Having performed in several venues from Dublin to London, ‘The Yellers’ are now in the midst of self-promotion and plan to have their first EP released by January 2015.
