They are punk, riot grrrl, real-deal indie with a touch of psychobilly. The Twistettes have a strong DIY ethos which has lead to connecting with other like minds and becoming involved in a variety of eclectic and exciting gigs in clubs, fields, warehouses, pubs, flats and gardens across the country. They have also performed at a number of festivals including Eden, Kelburn Garden Party, Loch Lomond Boat Party, Doune the Rabbit Hole and Audio Soup. The band released debut album 'Jilt the Jive' in 2016 which received many rave reviews, adding to the building momentum of The Twistettes.
