The TSJ - The Supersonic Jets, after meeting in late 2013, have quickly began to develop a devout and strong following.

They affluently combine riffs that wouldnt be out of place in 1960's Cali with a tight rhythm section resulting insimplistic yet funky, fun, enjoyable indie rock. Their shows are exuberant, they love to engage their regular crowd in a way that is quite their own. Their songs are somewhat against what's deemed 'popular' music, yet they seem to be able to accurately narrate the life of a typical, happy-go-lucky student.

The Supersonic Jets came together after all being engaged by the same flurry of musical genius. OK perhaps not, but after finding each other on Gum Tree (probably one of the most ridiculously cliche ways of starting a band if I may add) they first started shredding out the tunes in the practice rooms of Hull's Africa Studio's every sunday, quickly going on to produce an array of catchy, melodic indie beats in less than 6 months.

With their debut EP 'Electric Vibes' due for release in early August, the band's management (Evolution) have gone on to book a autumn tour of the UK to promote their hotly anticipated release. 3 singles have now being released, with the band surpassing 2000 listens on YouTube alone in just 5 months of getting together, the Supersonic Jets are keen to put their staple on the music scene of the north. They have been gigging and practicing tirelessly for years, but mere months as a band to get where they are now in such a short space of time is really something.

Their music is remenicent of long, smoky nights locked away in your mates bedroom relentlessly jamming until some catchy riff gets churned out, and then everything seems to fall gently into place behind it. With punchy up beat drums and stroksey-LA riffs being the signiature of their sound, their melodic indie pop promotes boucing basslines and down-to-earth, home hitting lyrics.

They say, ''We all share a universal, cosmic energy towards music. There's always something exciting and connecting when play a show - no matter what size - you get the feelings of expectation, the nerves still kick in, but we love it. We're deadly serious about leaving our mark on the music scene of the North East. We're keen in making Hull an earmark for ORIGINAL, LIVE, QUALITY MUSIC.

We're off on your in August to promote our new EP and it would fantasic to see some of you out there, if there's any where on our tour you want to see us come play, make sure we're the first to know.
