The Revolutionary Spirit are a North Wales based band formed in 2009 by vocalist/guitarist Josh Page and guitarist James Tindle.

The pair spent a year writing and recording demo songs in a bedroom before recruiting James' brother Jared Tindle on bass guitar. Over the next couple of years they had various drummers come and go playing live shows supporting the likes of The Charlatans, S.C.U.M. and TOY. Self released home demo's were released during this time aswell as releasing a one off single with London based label Cool For Cats. The songs recieved repeated airplay on BBC Wales and the band recorded a BBC Wales session in 2012. Shortly after this they found a permanent drummer in Greg Michell and the full line up was solidified. The next year saw many gigs played in and around the North West, Wales and London and in 2013 the band recorded their first full length album. Unfortunatley the album was shelved due to a contractual wrangle but two songs from the album saw the light of day with the April 2014 release of Sunshine/Leave It All Behind (b-side) single which was released on 7 inch vinyl via The Sound of Salvation record label. This led to short tour and later that year the band were invited to record with Simon Jones (The Verve/Black Submarine) at his studio. A four track E.P. entitled 'Barrowmore' was the result. Winter 2015 will see the band start recording their debut album, again with Simon Jones.
