Things began to fall into place shortly after that; the band used studio time won from a New England battle of the bands to cut a series of demos at Boston's Phoenix Down Studios. These recordings caught the attention of radio stations in Argentina, the UK and Australia, as well as New York based PR firm Effective Immediately.
By 2014, Hankins, along with bassist Adam Khalil and drummer Macklin Suhre, had become regulars in the downtown Boston music scene, obtaining a residency at Blackstone Grill and playing frequently at the historic Green Dragon pub. (Not to mention a little place called Cheers.) In addition, it wasn't uncommon for the band to pop up unexpectedly on a subway platform or park bench for an impromptu acoustic performance.
Also that year, the group recruited vocalist/lead guitarist Drew Lucas (of Out The Window, now on hiatus) to round out the lineup. This new collaboration lead to the group's self-titled debut EP, released May 2015.
