Do the Hoochie Coochie Trash-a-billy Stomp | Album | 2013 |
Their explosive mix between 50's Rockabilly, 60's Garage Trash, 70's Punk and 80's
Psychobilly sounds like it may have come from outer space. But The Psychonauts
actually hail from Basel (Switzerland) and have taken their name from the patients of the
discoverer of LSD, the Basler Albert Hofmann.
Soon after the band formed they were playing with such Psychobilly legends as:
The Meteors, Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, The Frantic Flintstones among others.
Tremendous T. (Vox/Guitar), Weirdy Beardy (Upright Bass) and Oily (Drums) have been
on the scene for many years and know what's what.
Their live show is especially impressive, consisting of original material and a couple of
cover versions of Rockabilly classics, enhanced by their own unique style. Right from the
first second, The Psychonauts let loose their "Hoochie Coochie Trash'a'Billy Stomp" on
the audience, with the motto "Wreck it and shake it up!"
So never miss a chance to see them, wherever it says
"Coming from outer space, The Psychonauts are in town"!
The Psychonauts bringen seit Herbst 2009 mit ihrem ureigenen "Hoochie Coochie Trash'a'Billy"-
klingt, also ob sie "from outer space" kommt. Tatsächlich aber kommen The Psychonauts aus
Basel (CH) und haben sich nach den Patienten des Basler LSD Entdeckers Albert Hofmann
benannt.
The Meteors, Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, The Frantic Flintstones und vielen anderen.
Ab der ersten Sekunde lassen The Psychonauts ihren groovy, gravy
“Wreck it and shake it up!“
Also wenn es heisst "Coming from outer space, The Psychonauts are in town!" sollte man dies
auf keinen Fall verpassen!
