Born in the Black Country on the same streets as Robert Plant and John Bonham from Led Zeppelin, The Peoples Temple are hard to pin down.

Started in January 2023 running through various lineup changes until settled on Mark Davies (drums) Neale Pitts (bass) Julian Hart (guitars) and Richard Trueman (guitars / vocals).

Drawing from local mythology, soul and spirituality connected with big guitars and driving bass and drums The Peoples Temple aims to connect.

The first release “Metempsychosis” is a journey of 4 songs through Covid ultimately coming out after a journey of trauma with your ‘soul intact’.

From hints of Alice in Chains, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, The Replacements, , , , to vocals likened to Mark Laneghan of Screaming Trees and Bush .
