Michał and Daria started their cooperation in 2016, having individual musical successes before. Michał, mainly in the field of rock, Daria – in jazz and soul. The experience of these classic genres can be heard in Michał's way of composing tunes and the impressive scale of Daria's voice.
Their music combines the club energy, sensual vibes and dance lightness. The concerts of The Party Is Over attract the audience with the specific atmosphere, imported straight from the techno clubs, where the unusual synths mix with an intriguing vocal and honestly sculpted bass.

In May 2018, The Party Is Over released the EP titled "Summer" - the first material in their career with Polish lyrics. "Summer" is nothing but a postcard from the past – the EP is full of musical anxiety and texts that arouse memories and longings.

LP "Stolen Symphonies", is the story about a meeting of two people, about the clash of two chaotic elements. Bliss and anxiety, delight and rage, adoration and contempt - extreme emotions are intertwined here with moments of cool analysis and distance to each other.

LIVE ACTS:

During a few years of activity, The Party Is Over toured extensively throughout the country. The duo hosted both at numerous local events (Industriada, Four Seasons Festival, Arc Independent) and nationwide festivals (Cudawianka in Gdynia, SOFAR in Wrocław). They will also be the guests of this year edition of the Czech festival - Hradecky Slunovrat.
Daria & Michał have performed on popular television shows (Must Be The Music, Kulturalni.pl) and in the radio programmes. TPIO also appeared in the Chillizet radio, where they were invited to the broadcast of Martyna Wojciechowska.

Daria Ryczek:
The vocalist captivates with charismatic sound and noble Polish texts, the value of which was appreciated by Bogdan Kondracki, the author of the first single of Dawid Podsiadło: "It's a class in itself - (...) it confirms that it is developing incredibly, a wonderful text !!!". She is the laureate of great songwriters competitions, including 2 Tracks and Skoda Auto Muzyka.
Last year, she was also noticed by well-known Polish rapper Miuosh and invited to his projects several times. One of the common projects was the spectacular concert at the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, together with such artists as: Justyna Święs, and Muniek Staszczyk,. Her another participation in Miuosh’s projects was "Women" – the series of gigs with some respected female vocalists, who – according to Miuosh – define the present Polish scene. The reviewers described this event in this way: "Her performance can be included in the category of exceptional performances (...) - a young singer stole all the power of the songs to show her great voice capabilities and maybe even break through some previous arrangements that we had the opportunity to meet during other rapports from Katowice."

Michał Wajdzik-Radziejowski:
Michał as Rabbit on the Moon (https://www.facebook.com/rbbtonthemn/) creates unique electronics and his music accompanies films and plays. He appeared in the "Ars Indpendent Festiwal" and in the Silesian Theater projects. His works are a combination of heavy electronics and industrial ambient music. Live creates an amazing acid atmosphere thanks to the Princess ANA visuals
