The Native Apes are an alternative rock band from East Lothian performing original songs written by singer-songwriter Martin Morrey.

The rest of the band are experienced players including Matt Armstrong, a founding member of The Kaisers, John Gurney, ex-of Elephant Noise, and Gus Braid, most recently seen performing with Carol Laula.
