The sounds of acoustic guitars, contrabass and drums evoke melodic landscapes and tell stories of mysterious and tragic heroes that have meaningful thoughts and deep emotions. The music by the four Upper Austrians ranges from reduced Singer/Songwriter songs, orchestral stunning rock ballads, soundtrack music to unique rock songs. No matter whether THE MORRICONES acoustic-alternative-rock is offered in an Irish Pub or in one of Austria’s large event locations, such as Gasometer or Nova Rock – the swinging songs are always presented with a twinkle in its eye. The melodic tunes combined with singing in two voices create beautiful moments even in the most intense and painful parts of the songs, showing that a “Western Drama” must not necessarily be loudly but can even win the heart of an Outlaw.

Als eine Hommage an die Klangästhetik der berüchtigten Spaghetti Western angelehnt, erschaffen THE MORRICONES ihr eigenes "Western Drama". Mit akustischen Gitarren, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug zeichnet die Band tonale Landschaften und erzählt Geschichten von tragischen, mitunter nur schemenhaft umrissenen Helden mit gedankenschweren Emotionen.
Reduzierte Singer/Songwriterstücke, orchestral aufbereitete Rockballaden, aber auch einschlägige Rocksongs finden hier Platz.
THE MORRICONES beginnen leise und zurückhaltend, steigern sich dramatisch um sich schließlich beim Showdown die Seele aus dem Leib zu schreien und ein instrumentales Fegefeuer heraufzubeschwören - ein donnerndes Schlagzeug, rauchende Bass- und Gitarrenlicks entladen sich in ihrem ganzen Pathos.
