The Marivaux are based in Manchester: Phil McAdam (vocals/guitar), Matt Sheilds (lead guitar), Rik Packer(bass) and Ben Peacock (drums).
They started writing and gigging together in 2009, which led to some high profile support slots including The Futureheads and George Borowski.
In 2012 they purchased a tour bus, known affectionately as ‘The Maribus’ and set off to Europe for a three week tour, where they have toured twice since. The band have also held shows at Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green stores, nationwide.
