Pretty DJ EP | EP | 2014 |
The Pretty DJ video, (directed by Will Hutchinson) was featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch on 4th January as part of their Playlist tips for 2015 and current single lifted from the EP Weekends, is on the XFM playlist.
Formed in January 2014 in their hometown of Bristol, The Jacques are Fin Jacque (voice/guitar), Elliot Jacque (drums), Oliver Jacque (bass/vocals) and Jake Jacque (guitar/vocals). The two sets of brothers, aged 16-21, charge their Britpop bayonets against the modern view that rock and roll with clever lyrics is dying.
Live, The Jacques have developed an incendiary set of songs and are making new fans wherever they play. Since their debut at Hyde Park in London in June 2014, where they played on the same bill as The Libertines (and where Gary Powell – Libs drummer- signed them on the spot to his 25 Hour Convenience Store label), they are now set to appear at festivals and venues around the UK in 2015.
They have announced the following dates – all ticket details are available on the band’s website
