The Hand of Midas are an alternative rock duo made up of Andrés and Diego Sanjose, two brothers from Guatemala.
They formed in 2013 and are based in Berlin. Their lyrics tell stories of romance, hardship, and coming of age.
In early 2015 they supported Gaby Moreno on her European tour. Later that year they recorded their first album with producer and renowned musician Tommy Baldu. After spending some time in Guatemala working on their music, they were invited to perform at the “III. Festival Acústico de Gaby Moreno y sus amigos” where they played for a sold out National Theatre with musicians such as Monsieur Periné, Jony P, Tommy Torres, Dominique Hunziker and Gaby Moreno.
Now they are back in Berlin preparing to release their first album and for their upcoming tour in May supporting Gaby Moreno.
