So they feel free to interpret folk music from a number of different angles. The results tend to be quite a unique mix of influences in the folk style, with definite nautical undertones. They just love this style because it has a rich tradition in Cornwall where it has always been the music of the people, influenced so much by the sea and coastal living. In some ways it’s the original dance music too, and gives us huge scope to write about everything from the romantic to the downright jiggy!”
