The Good Host | EP | 2012 |
With a full and energetic live sound, tight harmonies and a set bursting with catchy original tunes, this group celebrate eclecticism with a fun and musically adventurous live show.
The band itself is made up of highly experienced musicians, that between them have played some of the best stages around. From touring with the likes of Paul Weller to playing Glastonbury,V-Festival, SummerSonic in Japan and more. Now, these musicians have come together to frame the unique and imaginative songwriting of frontman Jason Baxter.
“Superb, stylish and complete, a testament to the beauty of music when played with generosity and smart, tasteful chic”
Liverpool sound and vision 9/10 - 2016
"Theatricality and genius-level Lyricism are powerful agents indeed. The Good Host are a big-band with an infallible stage presence, a line of incredible original tunes, and a gift for bringing their audience into their world. Singing songs of darkness in a jaunty light, The Good Host are, in fact, my favourite Liverpool band of all time."
SRCZmagazine - THRESHOLD-FESTIVAL- (Top 10 acts not to be missed) 2016
"Dripping in melodies, oozing confidence and simply fantastic"
Neil Crud - Link2Wales - 2016
