Since starting as a band in April 2013, the band has developed their own style of folk music, using female vocals and backing it with male harmonies; and underpinning the meaningful lyrics with well thought out instrumental parts using guitars, mandolin, glockenspiel and bouzouki.
The band create a driving rhythm using a bass drum, shakers and a tambourine, making it a tuneful but charmingly unpolished sound that has been likened to bands such as Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes and Admiral Fallow.
The Foxglove Company have had great feedback from the tracks on their initial EP, and have up to an hour of original music, and even more when adding the traditional folk songs they draw inspiration from.
Between them, the band have over 10 years experience in the live music industry, with experience of festivals and tours. They have been regarded as an exciting live act, and despite the band being in it's youth, they have already got performances booked all throughout the start of 2015 in their local area.
