The Filthy Palms: Nathan, George, James & Peter hail from within the BD post code, well north of the river.

Formed in 2014 they have gone through a few lineup changes but have now reached critical mass and are ready to explode.

Their first EP: Sway your bodies, not your car, released on Pyar Records Oct 31 2015 is flying of the shelves and the lads are currently embarking on a series of shows from Leeds to London and back again to further promote its sales. So goggle the Filthy Palms or check out their social media pages, you wont be disappointed.

Don’t believe me? read these…..

“Filthy start their set flawlessly playing off one another to give you a Jaws style rise into the first raunchy over-driven tones of Says he Queen. he song flows through the first verse with poise and precision until the song breaks and like noisy daggers striking you in the chest as the boys yell out “excuse me mr officer, I’ll drink if I wanna drink! says England says the Queen! From here on I’m hooked on these guys! hey roll forwards the set firing off; Scratchy, Sadie, the deep dual vocal Nasty Lies and Pitstop Highs, Seeing Green and their magnificent intermission lays way for the lads last song High Hopes. Opening with a sleazy punching riff and with lines like “all the mental smack heads were right” . his final track has
me smiling right through the solo and to the last lyrics that polish of this set that simply state
“I bet you’re f***ing high”. he Filthy Palms are the balls that indie never had and I totally recommend seeing them”

“ the Filthy Palms are a group that's visibly batting out of their early slot and are riling themselves for hitting a higher place on posters and playlists alike. hey are very skilled players, both technically and rhythmically. Even without much of an audience, this group were working to ensure they impress every soul in the room. I dare say this is the truest form of promotion and marketing a band is capable of”.
