The Dusk Run is the up-and-coming alternative rock band of 24-year-old singer-songwriter Peter Caisley.

The band first came together as Caisley drew together a collective of musicians to record an album for his music Masters Degree at Newcastle University in 2011-2012, which later developed into the solid 7-piece which is now The Dusk Run.

In July 2014, Peter wrote, recorded, produced and self-released The Dusk Run’s debut EP, ‘Burnished and Bright’. It was met with high acclaim from top industry professionals and tracks from it have achieved plays on Radio, including several BBC Introducing plays, and national TV.

Over the last year, The Dusk Run have gigged extensively across their local Newcastle scene, continuing to draw crowds and grow their already dedicated fan base. As well as being regular headliners themselves, they have supported touring bands such as Saint Motel and recently played at the internationally renowned venue The Sage, Gateshead.

In January 2015 they released their new single “We’ll make the River”. The single, which explores themes of hope and purpose, was recorded in the acclaimed Dean Street Studios, London, by Austin Jux-Chandler, who has worked with many great artists including Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine and Paul Weller.

Since then, The Dusk Run have already gone on to record a live radio session for BBC introducing and are currently booking shows for 2015.

Both their EP ‘Burnished and Bright’ and single ‘We’ll make the river’ are available to buy now from iTunes and other digital outlets.
