The Downpage Liberation Short Info

The Downpage Liberation are heavily influenced by inspirational songwriters, garage surfers and rock gods in equal measure. Their first release, the Now you Know EP, received rave reviews on the airwaves - "packing a punch with the attitude, with a catchy, jangly pop element to it too. I can very much imagine it rippling under my feet at an indie disco" (Yaz Saiedi).

And The Nth Degree picks up where it left off, conjuring a sound even more reminiscent of garage proponents like The Stooges and The Velvet Underground while oozing catchy, accessible songwriting. The EP retains Now you Know’s anthemic, lively grooves and melodies, inspired by The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac. Indie legends like The Arctic Monkeys also drive this genuinely-original offering, which was produced by hotly-tipped Derby producer Adam Fletcher.

Their first video - available from 11.09.15 - is 'What the Hell?' from the Nth Degree and stars George Newton (This is England - Banjo)
