The Band:
Formed in 2011 and built around the spine of the Dennington brothers, The Dark Jokes are: Aaron up front on guitar and vocals, Paul on drums, Jamie Hogg on bass, and instrument juggling cellist and keyboard player Matthew Thornton.
The Sound:
Lightning drums, rolling bass lines and stormy guitars. Cascading cello, electrostatic keys and stentorian vocals. Think rampant alternative rock frolicking with sonic imagery.
