A sharp dressed, Glasgow based, 11 piece band formed in 2011.Their latest EP – Motown’s Lost Its Soul - was released on Fri the 27th Nov 2015 @ Stereo, Glasgow. They won the prestigious Sunday Herald Best Unsigned Band 2014 competition and have since opened the Main Stage at the Wickerman Festival, headlined the Oxjam Takeover inaugural event and played King Tuts Wah Wah Hut.
They have a big punchy sound, evoking classic ska, motown, new wave, big band swing and polka. At times they are theatrical and comical and at others political and melancholic. This is the Cut Throat Razors. You will find them strangely unique, or perhaps, uniquely strange…..
