With the addition of guitarist Aimon Clark and later Gabe Webster, The Creases were born.
The band released their debut EP, Gradient in 2014, and earned slots on Australia's Laneway Festival and Splendour in the Grass as well as The Great Escape Festival in UK and SXSW Festival in the US. With a string of singles to follow, they’ve become a staple on Australia's youth radio station, triple j ever since.
This year, The Creases released their long-awaited debut album, Tremolow. A critically acclaimed body of work, heavily influenced by their love of eighties and nineties indie pop. It has recently been nominated for this year’s Australian Music Prize, Album of the Year.
