The Warsaw-based band The Cookies is composed of five charismatic musicians recognized for their cooperation with many Polish artists.

As a band, they are the winners of the international Festival Emergenza. The group is led by a blond vocalist and MC Karolina Raas Kiesner.

The Cookies playfully blend genres such as pop, soul, electronic music and hip-hop, and their trademark is the exceptional combination of Karolina’s fast rapping and her expressive vocals.
They band likes to spice up its shows with carefully designed visuals, choreography and outfits.
It is precisely the energetic concerts – and intriguing mixes of genres – that the Cookies are renowned for. At their shows you can hear, for example, a blend of rap and drum’n’bass rhythms as well as rock guitar overdrives combined with jazzy harmonies.
After 3 years of concerts in Poland and abroad, the band debuted with the album Push Rewind released by the label MJM Poland in October 2015.

The album was heralded by the singles „Housewife” and „Kickin” – they are both repeatedly played by the Polish local and nationwide radio stations.

The album’s musical production was entrusted to Olo Mothaship, recognized for his cooperation with renown artists such as Raging Fyah, Pablopavo, Marika, Vavamuffin. The record’s mastering was taken care of by Jacek Gawłowski – 2014 GRAMMY award winner for Włodek Pawlik’s record Night in Calisia.

On the debut LP, recorded predominantly live, you can hear string and brass sections, tape-recorded Hammond organ or Brazilian percussive ensemble – and much more.
At their album release concert in the Warsaw club Stodoła, The Cookies for the first time presented their music with additional personnel, creating a 14-person electro-pop orchestra including brass, string, percussion and vocal sections.
