Parachute him in behind your decks and he'll give your party its marching orders; covering all the bases from funk, jazz, soul, and reggae to hip-hop, house, UK Garage and Grime.
The rest of the time, you'll find him in his secret underground bunker (cleverly disguised as a terraced house in Sheffield), engineering his own tunes for maximum groove, bass and fun.
The result is usually up-tempo party music with plenty of soul and humour and kidney-wobbling basslines.
In his long DJ career, he has played widely around Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and London, including such clubs as Kabal, Bigger Than Barry, The Tuesday Club, The Wardrobe, Dry Bar, Plug and Gatecrasher, and has warmed up for some big names as diverse as Toddla T, XXXY, DJ Format and DJ Derrick.
He's had a string of releases on labels including Tru Thoughts and Freestlye Records, and support on Radio 1, 1Xtra, Rinse FM and Kiss FM.
He's also a qualified industrial abseiler, a fancy-dress enthusiast, and a keen (but largely unskilled) player of football and tinkerer with car engines.
N.B. He is not able to do all of those things while DJing.
The Colonel looks forward to bringing the Ruckus to your event!
