In the early months of performing and writing music, the band recorded their first EP 'Impossible' (titled after their first single release).

The band were previously signed to independent record label Right Recordings LTD in early 2013 but left their manager and label mid 2014 wanting to pursue bigger adventures independently. While singed to the label the band worked with esteemed record producer Stuart Epps (Oasis, Elton John) to record their debut singles 'Silvertown' and 'Obstacles', played a stormer of a show at The BBC Club, London and had airplay on BBC Radio 2.

Since taking things into their own hands they've been featured on radio stations all over the world including Canada, Australia, South Africa, Nashville and across the UK including air play on local station Nation Radio, and BBC Radio Wales. The band have also had their albums reviewed here in the UK and across the pond in the states and further still.

Over the course of the band's forming they have shared the stage with BBC's The Voice contestant Ragsy, Mike + The Mechanics’ Owen Paul’s new project, Press To Meco, Dead!, The People The Poet, October Drift, BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, Straight Lines, and Phil Campbell (Motorhead) and the Bastard Sons.

In April 2015 The Broadcasts headed to Mwnci Studios, a secluded cottage in Pembrokeshire, to record their debut 9 track album. In May 2015 the boys embarked on their first UK tour with the aim to impress, every stop offered extremely positive feedback and plenty of return shows. Towards the end of summer 2015, the four piece released their first official single and music video entitled ’This Is Life’ taken from their upcoming self titled album.

The self titled debut album was released in June 2016 at a Sold Out show downstairs at Clwb Ifor Bach. After releasing the album the boys spent the year travelling and playing shows anywhere and everywhere, this included Tramlines Festival (Sheffield), Kaya Festival (Port Talbot), The Big Cwtch (Camarthen), Polperro Festival (Cornwall), and HoyFest (Cardiff), playing Verve Bar (Leeds), The Globe (Cardiff), Leith Dept (Edinburgh), The Muni (Pontypridd) and The Pack and Carriage (London).

2016 also took the band on their first ever shows outside the UK, The Broadcasts embarked on an EU Mini Tour in November which saw them play L'International (Paris), Quiksilvers Boardriders Club, Bercy (Paris), Taille 33 Record Store (Brussels) and CC Muziek Cafe (Amsterdam).
