BBC Radio 1's and NME's recent future star ''The Away Days'' released their debut album ''Dreamed at Dawn'' in 2017 and received huge amount of praise from the international media like The Independent, NME, BBC Radio 1 and 6Music, KEXP, Clash Music and more.

They played In May and June 2017 they played couple of packed headline shows in Paris, Berlin, London, Dortmund and more.
And before that they played big festivals like SXSW, Glimpse, United Islands Festival, The Great Escape and more until they release their album.

Istanbul's indie outfit The Away Days took part in festivals abroad such as South by Southwest, Glimps, United Islands. Warmed up the stage for the likes of Banks, Belle & Sebastian, Massive Attack, Portishead, Wild Beasts, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Local Natives. Received great international media attention. According to The Guardian: “Turkish shoegaze might not be a major phenomenon, but given the breadth of their talent, it soon could be”; and The Independent included them in their list of “young bands that must be listened to in 2017”. Their first singles were premiered by magazines such as SPIN, NME and Clash. Found their way into the BIRP playlist. Their songs became the favourites of Cheap Monday, H&M and Topshop stores. It is hard to believe they are from Istanbul at first sight. The band’s journeys around the world had a reflection on their chords, inclining them from indie rock to shoegaze, dream pop and psychedelic. The trio’s atmospheric sounds that fill in the venues in their live shows have already become an urban legend.
