The fusion of sounds from various sources (the tango, Latin American rhythms, electronica, etc.) embraces the musical language of Tanghetto. The bandoneon takes the role of a singer and is accompanied by other prominent acoustic instruments (acoustic piano, guitar, violoncello, Chinese instrument erhu) and an array of synthesizers and samplers in elaborate and sophisticated sonic textures.
It’s been 13 years since Tanghetto started recording, playing, touring and creating a whole new sound for the Buenos Aires musical scene and the world. The band continues to surprise its audience with their innovative studio works and with their powerful audiovisual show. Tanghetto released seven studio albums (almost all platinum or gold in Argentina), a live DVD, a double live album, soundtracks and has received great recognition with three Latin Grammy nominations, two-time winners of the Gardel Award (nominated 5 times in a row since 2009).
