Synchronism is a derivation from the initial project name “Gleichlaufartisten” which stands for the collaboration of the two founding artists – like a gear wheel gracefully actuating Swiss clockworks.
The duo has been active since 2004 and in the many years ever since, they have soaked up every inspiration that came across, both behind and in front of the DJ booth.
You will recognise that in every single production as well as in their driving DJ sets.
Influenced by the greatest of the great such as Richie Hawtin, Heinrichs & Hirtenfeller, Chris Liebing und Edit Select, their grown up and credible style of today is the result of their experiences, adventures, Stefan’s ongoing search for new sounds and Christian’s never ending keenness for finding and using new technical possibilities.
Their sounds is somewhere between hard techno and the playfulness of minimal.
After 10 years of a wild marriage they had the chance to release their first commercial EP with Moonplay Records in 2014.
Atari Mindgames has changed a lot for Synchronism. Not only had the international press started noticing their releases but DJ celebrities such as “Animal Trainer” have incorporated their EP into their playlist.
Shortly after release, Atari Mindgames entered the sales charts on Beatport and reached a fantastic number 3.
In 2016 Synchronism had their debut with Supdub Records.
By getting G-Man on board as a remixer, the EP “Sad Seduction” once more substantiates their musical origin.
Since Supdub Records is so convinced of their sound, Synchronism has become “exclusive artists” in May 2016 with Supdub Records.

„Synchronism“ hat für die beiden Jungs aus dem Berliner Umland eine tiefe Bedeutung. Bei Synchronism handelt es sich um eine Ableitung aus dem ursprünglichen Projektnamen „Gleichlaufartisten“, der für die ineinander übergehende Zusammenarbeit der beiden Künstler steht. Wie zwei Zahnräder, die taktvoll ein Schweizer Uhrwerk antreiben. Seit 2004 gibt es das Duo nun schon. In den vielen Jahren haben sie jeden Einfluss, der sich ihnen vor und hinter dem DJ Booth geboten hat, aufgesogen.
Man hört es in jeder einzelnen Produktion aber auch in ihren treibenden DJ Set’s.
Beeinflusst von den Größten der großen, z.B. Richie Hawtin, Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, Chris Liebing und Edit Select ist ihr erwachsener und kredibiler Sound von heute das Resultat ihrer Erfahrungen, Erlebnisse, Stefans ständige Suche nach neuen Sounds und Christians unaufhörliche Versessenheit neue technische Möglichkeiten zu finden und zu nutzen.
Der Sound befindet sich irgendwo zwischen hartem Techno und der Verspieltheit des Minimal.
Nach 10 Jahren „wilder Ehe“ haben sie im Jahr 2014 die Chance bekommen auf dem Label Moonplay Records ihre erste kommerzielle EP zu veröffentlichen. Atari Mindgames hat kurz nach Veröffentlichung die Sales-Charts auf Beatport erreicht und landet dort auf Platz 3.
