If we knew the soft and warm voice of the singer Syna Awel in her project Jazz Oriental, it is the strength of her ancestors that we now hear through the vibration of her vocal cords.
In this new project Electro Deep Minimal, Syna Awel is accompanied on stage by Tahine, multi-instrumentalist of Malagasy origin. The duo fuses traditional kabyles and electronic trance songs inspired by Acid Arab, DJ Snake, Paul Kalkbrenner, Boris Brejcha and Charlotte de Witte.
Semi-acoustic combination that allows the two musicians to alternate vocals, shells, bendir, trombone, derbouka and karkabou, against a background of polyrhythms and melodic strings.
This music, both festive and spiritual, allows Syna Awel and Tahine to carry with elegance a message of unity and peace between cultures, generations and genres.
