Pioneers of Midwest indie rock in Eastern Europe, they blend emotive melodies, introspective lyrics, and bedroom pop influences to create a sound that feels both personal and universal. Sunblinds aims to resonate with audiences at home and all over the globe.

Sunblinds are Peter Wavy (vocals, guitar), Kaloyan Stoyanov (guitar), Yordan Chipev (bass), and Blagovest Zahariev (drums). Known for their hands-on, DIY approach, Sunblinds take their inspiration from iconic alternative & art-rock acts, from which they craft a distinctly modern style that is all their own.

In 2023, they released the singles “Bordeaux” and “Sulking,” showcasing their poetic lyricism and raw authenticity. Sunblinds were part of the Rock School accelerator program. Their music has propelled them to perform at notable events like SPIKE Bulgarian Music Showcase and Sofar Sounds Sofia. Sunblinds have been featured on Bulgarian National Television and in 2024 they successfully completed their first local tour.

With their debut album (Chasing Ghosts) in production, Sunblinds is set to expand their reach, build a thriving indie scene in Bulgaria, and establish themselves as a prominent voice in the global indie rock landscape.
