Young but experienced alternative rock band from Swansea.

Static Fires are a young, punchy alt-rock band from south-wales, formed in late 2014. We released our Debut self-titled EP on the 11th of March 2016. Our style has been compared to that of Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and we've been lucky enough to play with bands such as Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Richie Ramone and Cut Ribbons.

Static Fires all grew up together with the same dream – to have our own band. We consist of Sam Randles on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jack Clements on lead guitar, Thomas Gibbins on Bass, and Jack Piper on drums. As individuals we all varying music tastes, which we blend together to create the Static Fires sound.

As a group we plan to push the limits on how far we can go- play music, be at big gigs, make albums, and have a damn good time doing it. Having played with some big names already, including Red Jumpsuit Apparatus,Cut Ribbons, Buffalo Summer, Venrez, and Richie Ramone, We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us. The band is currently based in Swansea, but is looking into new gig and venue opportunities across south wales and beyond!

Having spent the majority of 2015 playing gigs and putting the finishing touches on our debut EP (which was released on the 11th of March 2016), Static Fires hope to go into 2016 stronger than ever.

"A fine showpiece for the band and it's pulled off with a snarling attitude and brash conviction." -Reverbroom.com on our track "Dinner With A Psychopath".

"“Another great band in that burgeoning exciting music scene that is South Wales and The Valleys” -Aaron Phillips, Amazing Radio Rock Show.
