Forming in the summer of 2015, Spilt Milk Society's rise has been swift and constant.

Starting out playing at house parties they soon moved onto bigger venues.

Heavily backed by BBC Introducing they have sold out shows in their home town of Birmingham at prestigious venues like the O2 Institute and The Sunflower Lounge. Recent appearances also include slots at The Great Escape Festival on the bbc introducing stage and supporting the likes of TENDER, Superfood, Toothless and Fickle Friends on their tours on 2017.

Musically, the band blends indie-rock instrumentation with pop vocal melodies. Lyrically, subjects of their songs address the grey space between positive and negative frame of minds with an underlying interest in suicidal thoughts. Exploring many different styles, Spilt Milk Society are constantly experimenting with their direction. This is representative of the stage of life that they're in as people; just finishing formal education and moving from Birmingham to Liverpool with band ages ranging from 17 years old to 22.

The band was formed by vocalist and song-writer Harry Handford and lead guitarist Josh Hyde in 2015. Adam Handford immediately started as the band's bass player followed by long time friend Chan Kathuria on drums. A year later the arrival of Harry Kilminster came about as the band needed an extra player for a BBC Introducing Live Set.

Additionally, Vidorra is the name that Chan writes and produces under and Harry Handford expresses himself through his solo project Strawberry Milkshake.
