The Southbound Attic Band is singer songwriter , Barry Jones and Ronnie Clark.

Guitar, harmonica, bass and vocal harmony combine to create Celtic flavoured acoustic Americana with an English folk rock sensibility and catchy melodic songs with a darkly humorous edge. With 4 CD's and counting worth of original material the band also perform a theatre piece called The Willows Suite, a collection of original songs based on The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Grahame. Equally at home with a thoughtful, listening audience or a rowdy Saturday night pub crowd, they are an accomplished and versatile live act.

Former host and co-promoters of Liverpool’s regular Americana evening, the Acoustic Dustbowl, held at the View Two Gallery in Mathew Street, they have shared the stage with many USA and UK Americana artists including The Burning Hell, The Lost Brothers, Eric Brace and Peter Cooper, Eef Barzelay and Otis Gibbs and opened at the Wirral International Guitar Festival 2013 for My Darling Clementine, and for Polly and the Billets Doux at The Atkinson, Southport in May 2014. In August 2013 they played at the aftershow party for the premiere of the film the City That Rocked The World at the personal request of the film’s producer, and in 2014 have been featured on Radio Merseyside programmes with Billy Butler and Billy Maher, playing live, and Spencer Leigh’s Juke Box Jury as well as a full 3 hour programme as guests of Steve Blackstone on Anglesey’s Mon Fm and an hour with Iain Tinsley on Halton Community Radio. They have played at four of the Liverpool Threshold festivals , Light Night 2013, 2014 and 2015, Be Lovely Day, Beerdfest, and in 2014, Farm Feast, Liverpool Calling at the Bombed Out Church, Hope Fest, Liverpool International Music Festival, as well as Turkey Lodge Festival in Hebden Bridge for the second day of The Tour De France and the opening night of Folk on the Farm on Anglesey. They played the Liverpool Acoustic Festival, Fylde Rock and Roots Festival and Folk On The Farm festivals 2015, West Kirby Live 2016, Liverpool's Folk on The Dock 2016 and 2017, Folk On The Farm, Anglesey 2017, Glasdawnbury 2017 for She Drew The Gun. Regular live guests on Radio Merseyside with Billy Maher and 3 featured appearances on Bay TV and Made In Liverpool.
