Furtther Sonifer started to adopt audiovisual components from other project called SoniLumatrice, introducing a sonic stroboscpoe and sound visuals as beamprojection straight from the sound via oscilloscope to projector.

History:

Sonifer emerged from side interest from other, mainly noise oriented projects and works, done since about 20 years as Michael Schweiger.
The new project Sonifer on electronic sound and analog electronic music, still using sound as medium and/or material and listening as sense, slowly evolved over some years, mainly studiing approaches to analog electronic music in terms of live set machines performances and straight realtime stereo from the desk recordings, often on tapemachine.

sound in genereal found my interest many, many years ago and I still like to use different ways of generating, extracting or simply grabbing sound and play with it as I like to listen and compose sounds even only in the head while my attention gets cought by a sound while walking, waiting ….

Sonifer is refers the aocustic counterpart of lucifer, the light donor, denoted by religions as the prime evil, while light itself stayed as the prototype of the good, goodness and divinity.
