Drawing on influences of 70's Disco, 80's PunkFunk and JazzFunk, the band started writing their own original material with the sole mission of getting audiences to get down on the dance floor. 2014 saw Sonic Dutch gigging in some of the funkiest venues all over London.

The band have just finished their first EP which includes the popular tracks "FREEDOM ASSAIL," "SAY IT TO MY FACE" and "ADONIS BLUE" featuring saxophonist Will Wood. The beginning of 2015 saw the arrival of new band members, Barny Marshall on drums and Samuel Hunt on keys bringing a new energy to the stage. With lots of gig dates in the diary, new tracks written and more recording sessions lined up, 2015 is set to be another FUNKY year for the Sonic Dutch crew.
