After celebrating the release of their first EP with a rave debut gig in front of a packed crowd at Cardiff’s legendary Clwb Ifor Bach in March 2014, the band went on to perform at the Blue Lagoon and Beltane Buzz music festivals in June.

Championed by two of BBC Radio Wales’ most influential DJ’s, Adam Walton and Bethan Elfyn, Some Kind Of Leader released two singles in 2014 before the arrival of their debut album ‘Dog Club’ (on Broken Yoke Records) in September.

Producer Cian Ciarán (Super Furry Animals) rears some interesting beasts across 13 unique tracks which channel the raw sound and attitude of classic rock titans such as The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Doors and the multifarious nature of David Bowie and The Beatles.

Some Kind Of Leader are currently applying for festival slots across the UK in 2015.
