His influences range from Jamie T to Elvis and he has created a sub-genre of of his own which he calls melodic rap, a little similar to the young Ed Sheeran. Solomon sings about his experiences of love, life and death in songs which resinate with audiences and often cause a hush in the room. Popular with a wide variety of audiences, Solomon’s simplistic yet rich music is good for any relaxed event. He has had experience supporting a number of notable artists, including Alt-J, Everything Everything, Finley Quaye, Bombay Bicycle Club and Neville Staple. He has also played at the British festivals, ‘Standon Calling’ and ‘Boomtown’. Solomon works with his farther Juan Janes on occasion; an accomplished Argentine guitarist and a massive inspiration to Solomon. When on tour, Solomon performs with his acoustic nylon string guitar, loop station and harmony pedals, to create an exciting and engaging live experience for listeners.
