Whether holding her electric guitar or laying her fingers on her vintage toy organ, Sofia’s songs infuse dignity into the pop music genre. Her captivating melodies meld the groove of soul music, the boldness of rock, the beat of funk, with a clear indie attitude.
The common thread is a voice which can range the entire gamut from big and spiky to intimate and dreamy.

Sofia is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the italian band ‘Lola And The Lovers’ . The Lolas have performed around 300 shows in the most important Italian live clubs as well as at London’s famous ‘12 Bar Club’ in Denmark Street, where some of the cult rock bands like Sex Pistols, Clash and Oasis had their first gigs. They have, in the past three years, opened the concerts of Italian and international bands such as Jon Spencer blues explosion, Fleshtones, Teatro degli orrori, Caparezza, One Dimensional Man, Offlaga Disco Pax, Bandabardò, Skiantos, Zen Circus.
The Lolas have a self-produced cd titled “Pissed Off”, that is distributed in the shops by Venus Distribution . It has been positively reviewed in many Italian magazines, including ‘Mucchio Selvaggio’.
The title song, “Lola Is Pissed Off”, has been featured in a compilation with the Italian national magazine ‘XL REPUBBLICA’ and has been performed as a video clip on ‘MTV New Generation’.

In 2012, Sofia starts to perform as a solo artist and she moves for a year in Montréal (Canada), where she starts featurings and plays is some outstanding festivals like the Indie Week 2012 in Toronto and One Man Band Festival 2013 in Montréal.

In 2014, Sofia opens the following acts: Hugo Race (from Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds), Emir Kusturica, Hollie Cook, Cat Power, and she is part of the 3 selected artists out of 600 for the notable Controradio Contest 2014 based in Florence (Italy).

Her first solo album "Former" has been released the 9th June 2015.
