The past 2 years have been huge for the 4 piece Skyway Avenue, a pop-rock band from Bournemouth, England.

Formed in 2012, the band have already headlined the likes of the Southampton Joiners and Nottingham's Tap N Tumbler, and part of Bandalism 2012 at the Bournemouth O2 Academy.

Punchy, punky, and fun, their debut album Comic Book Crush amassed over 400 sales in the first year, and its single "Loser" garnered 1,000 sales and over 100,000 streams on both YouTube and Spotify. Additionally, its single "Taking My Chances", produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Something Corporate) achieved moderate success prior to the album's release.

Now into 2014, the band have their sights set on touring in the summer to support their 3 track EP, "Small Talk", funded in part through PledgeMusic.com. "All we want to do it make music - it never feels like work and that's what makes us work harder". Small Talk was released July 1, 2014.

"Sugar coated pop punk nouveau emo with lots of synthpop production helping it along towards teen adoration" - BugBear Promotions.

"The band wear their hearts on their sleeves and throw themselves full on into a genre that they obviously so dearly love ... The shining stars of the album are without doubt the very catchy “Loser” and “Plastic Girls" ... If you don’t buy many albums by local bands, put your money in your pocket and buy this one as I promise you won’t be disappointed!!" - Rock Regeneration
